Farms of the Future

The NSW Government has committed $48 million for the Farms of the Future program.

The program is being delivered in partnership with DPI (Department of Primary Industries) in five target regions across 11 local government areas. The program will deliver both on-farm connectivity and support to assist farm businesses to adopt AGTECH to boost productivity and improve resource management, including water and drought preparedness.

What is the next step?

In order to apply for the grant growers are required to attend a training day or complete an online course. The course is a pre-requisite to apply for a Farms of the Future Grant that is being offered to eligible primary producers in January 2023. This course focuses on the process of developing a Monitoring plan for your business including a farm map, identification of pain points and addressing connectivity and AGTECH device needs. In order to apply for the grant, growers a required to attend a training day or complete a online course.
